Privacy Policy

We do not sell, license, sublicense or share any of the data submitted directly or indirectly by our users with any person or entity.

Glacier Security, Inc. is an independent company 100% funded, owned and controlled by its founders and will never engage in any data sharing or selling activities, now or in the future.

Glacier does not collect, share or store sensitive conversations.

Glacier utilizes state-of-the-art security and end-to-end encryption to provide private messaging and Internet calling services to users worldwide. Your calls and messages are always encrypted, so they can never be shared or viewed by anyone but yourself and the intended recipients.

No ads. No trackers.

The Glacier app(s) have never and will never contain ads or trackers.

Information you provide

Account Information. You may optionally add information to your account, such as a profile name, profile picture, and email address.

Messages. Glacier cannot decrypt or otherwise access the content of your messages or calls. Glacier queues end-to-end encrypted messages on its servers for delivery to devices that are temporarily offline (e.g. a phone whose battery has died). Your message history is stored on your own devices.

Additional technical information is stored on our servers, including randomly generated authentication tokens, keys, push tokens, and other material that is necessary to establish calls and transmit messages. When Glacier Security Hub is enabled, additional technical information is stored on our servers, including device hardware type, device OS type, OS version and security patch data. Glacier limits this additional technical information to the minimum required to operate the Services.

Contacts. Glacier cannot discover which contacts in your address book are Glacier users. Within Glacier Dial app, we request permission to access your contact list solely to make it easier to place calls from within the app. Glacier will never copy or upload your contact list to any external service. Your contact list is stored securely on your device and is never shared with Glacier or any third party.

User Support. If you contact Glacier User Support, any personal data you may share with us is kept only for the purposes of researching the issue and contacting you about your case.

Optional Organization wide features:

Location. The location tracking feature is available for organizations. This is an entirely opt-in feature for each end-user device. Location data sent to Glacier is encrypted in transit and at rest. Your organization admin can set the retention period to store location history.

Voicemail. The voicemail feature is an optional, opt-in feature for organizations that want to provide voicemail options for Glacier.

Threat Detection. Glacier provides threat detection services that can block organization devices from connecting to malicious domains. By default, logging device DNS activity is disabled. If your organization enables logging, data such as app and browser queries are logged for the amount of time your organization has set for its logging retention policy.

Managing your information. You can manage your personal information in Glacier’s application Settings.

Data Removal. To request the removal of your data from our systems, please submit a data removal request. We will take reasonable steps to delete your data in a timely manner. In addition to user data removal requests, organization administrators may also delete user data from the Glacier Console.
